I'm not sure what to call this. Yarn vase candle holder project? Kinda awkward. It's not too much of a project either. If you can handle a little tape, this is right up your alley.
I'm working on a few little things for my fall mantel. I'm keeping it fairly simple this year.
Gather a vase, tape, yarn, and a shock of wheat or a pretty leaf.
Tape the end of your yarn to the vase about 1/3 of the way up.
Wrap it around and around-- making sure that the layers don't overlap.
Wrap it to your desired thickness then tape it off again. Gently thread the shock of wheat through a few layers of yarn.
Or if you have pretty fall leaves already, you can use one of those instead of the wheat.
Or if it still looks summer outside where you live, you can fake it, like me. :)
Happy Thursday, loves!

Hi Amy! I love the simplicity of the vase design. Very modern and elegant! I have dollar store vases I change out with burlap or fabric. Always a quick change to follow along with the seasons. Cheers and have a wonderful weekend!
