Pumpkin Pie Milkshake [Celebrating Fall, Day 12]

A couple weeks ago was National Milkshake Day. I don't remember what day it was, but ever since I haven't been able to get milkshakes off my brain.

Since we are celebrating fall here on The Happy Tulip, I thought that a pumpkin flavored milkshake would perfectly commemorate the season, as well as  feed my craving.

It's rather simple, but so delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • A pinch of allspice
Blend all ingredients in a blender. Depending on your preferred milkshake consistency, you may add more ice cream for a thicker shake or more milk for a thinner shake. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.

It was so good, I'm dreaming up more flavor combinations.
