Quick Pumpkin Smoothie

Here's a quick recipe to get your week started. I know there are many pumpkin recipes on the internet right now, but I need to add one more. It's delicious and nutritious— and so much better for you than the refined sugar bombs you can get from a drive-through.

The level of sweetness may need adjusting according to the ripeness of the banana, so taste first before adding too much honey.

Also, if you're feeling really indulgent, you can add an once or two of cream cheese. (Yum!)

Quick Pumpkin Smoothie

Ingredients

1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup milk or almond milk
3 ice cubes
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
2 teaspoons honey (to taste)
1/2 banana, frozen

Directions

Blend all ingredients in a blender. Taste for sweetness and more honey if needed.
