31 Days of Primal/Paleo Recipes

Like many people, I've been looking to live a healthier life. Recently I've come to believe that following the primal diet is the right decision for me and my family to move closer to our health goals.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the concept, my definition of primal eating is avoiding all grains, legumes, refined sugar, and industrial oils in our food. Dairy is a rather gray area to many people-- some people avoid it completely and some eat it in moderation. I fall in the latter camp. My family is choosing to eat this way in order to be a little healthier, not because of any particular food allergies or sensitivities.

So what is going to be in these recipes?

  • Meat
  • Vegetables
  • Fruit
  • Nuts
  • Healthy Oils and Fats
  • Dairy (sometimes)
  • Spices
In other words, nutrient-dense, unprocessed food.

I'm going to try to share a variety of recipes-- breakfast, lunch, dinner, appetizers, snacks, and even dessert. A few of them are going to be original recipes and some will be adaptations of not-so-primal favorites.
