Here's a kid-friendly fall art project using watercolors. I don't have kids currently but I know a lot of my readers do.
I knew that this would turn out better if I used artist quality watercolor paint but I wanted to see if it would work with the cheap, kid stuff. It worked pretty well, but you won't be able to get a high color saturation without the "real" paint.
I used a green leaf as the stencil because I found the changed leaves too brittle to use.
I just held down the leaf on the paper as I brushed the color on.
Add all the colors that you would like.
Ta-da! Super kid-friendly.
Happy Friday!
